KeyLit is our latest and most ambitious foray into the EdTech space. Built on the same LMS system as our Vocabulary Power Plus Online program, our goal was to support teachers in reading the classic novels that we all love.
We know that literature is the heart and soul of the high school English language arts classroom, and that literature is the lynchpin of teaching reading, writing, grammar, and every element of the ELA curriculum. We also know that kids today are finding it more and more challenging to read long-form fiction, but that students who are supported in exploring these books will be able to grow into powerful readers who will not only understand more about these particular books, but also bring those skills to their reading in the future.
We developed KeyLit to support and understanding of the text that goes beyond a surface level by asking students to closely examine an author’s choices and understand the literary elements that go into these great books.
