Content Marketing: English Teacher’s Free Library
In 2013, we relaunched the Prestwick House website on a new platform. Our initial efforts focused on serving only those who were at the purchasing phase of the buying cycle. After digging through analytics and performing surveys we found out that one of our most important customer groups, the classroom teacher, was using our site on average only once per year.
To get English teachers to visit our site more frequently, we developed the English Teacher’s Free Library with the goal of providing resources that teachers need year round. The Free Library includes a variety of classroom-ready resources that drives traffic 12-months a year, including:
Since launch, the Library has generated more than 300,000 unique page views and has helped lift overall site traffic by over 250%. And, even better than that, traffic to the Free Library bounces at a rate 40% lower than the site average.
